Carbon dioxide recovery equipment is specialized machinery designed to capture, purify, and reuse carbon dioxide found in industrial waste gases. The primary technical stages include:

Compression Stage: The equipment utilizes mechanical compressors to pressurize the carbon dioxide-containing gas to a high-pressure state (typically 10–20 bar), thereby increasing the gas density to facilitate subsequent processing.

 

Cooling Stage: A refrigeration system is employed to cool the gas to cryogenic temperatures (approximately -40°C to -50°C), inducing the carbon dioxide to condense into a liquid state.

 

Purification and Storage: After undergoing filtration to remove impurities, the liquid carbon dioxide can be stored in specialized tanks or further processed into byproducts-such as dry ice-for use in industrial cooling or food preservation applications.

 

A key advantage of this technology lies in its closed-loop design: the recovered carbon dioxide can be recycled back into production processes-for instance, in beverage carbonation or welding shielding-thereby achieving significant resource conservation. Recovery rates typically exceed 80% (based on industry-standard testing), substantially reducing the need for fresh carbon dioxide supplies. While the equipment's energy consumption varies depending on its scale and design, modern models incorporate optimized heat exchange systems to minimize overall energy usage.
