Liquefied Air builds new air separation unit in Huizhou, Guangdong, with a daily production capacity of 800 tons of liquid gas

 

On April 21, 2026, Air Liquide of France held the groundbreaking ceremony for its new air separation unit at the New Materials Industrial Park in Huizhou, Guangdong Province. The project will add a daily supply of 800 tons of liquid oxygen, liquid nitrogen, and liquid argon to serve the Pearl River Delta market, and is expected to be put into operation in 2027. The device will use the latest technology of liquefied air to produce high-purity liquid gas, serving industries such as semiconductors, advanced manufacturing, petrochemicals, and healthcare. Since entering the South China market in the early 1990s, liquefied air has operated enterprises in Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Foshan and other places, serving over 2800 customers
